Soak black moss and then wash with oil. Rinse with water. Drain and chop.
Add Chinese mushrooms, black moss and marinade to minced fish. Stir well until sticky. Shape into balls.
Fry fish balls in 2-3 tbsp oil until golden yellow. Add seasoning mix and cook for 3 minutes or until fish balls are cooked. Stir in thickening and heat through. Put on a serving plate and surround with cooked lettuce.
